Our school based integration program offers students the opportunity to participate in school life at a regular, local school. Junior school to Junior High students have the opportunity to experience integration by spending time at a regular school each week in satellite classes. We have satellite classes at a number of local mainstream schools.
These integration opportunities allow students to develop and practice relevant, age appropriate skills in a different community settings.
Fisher Road is involved in a number of "reverse" integration programs which involve students from other schools working alongside our students.
In and About
Sometimes the community comes to visit us. Students from Shore (Sydney Church of England School) come to our school and work and mix with our students for the morning one day a week throughout the school year. Students from other schoosl also spend special days with the students from Fisher Road School such as St Ignatious students and Riverview schools.
