The Fisher Road School difference

We care, with support tailored to every student

We work in partnership with families to create personalised learning plans, using tailored communication tools and technology to help every student feel confident, understood and supported. At our school, Together We Can reflects our shared commitment to working in collaboration to help every student achieve their goals.

We learn through real-world experiences, in and beyond the classroom

Students build confidence and independence through real-world experiences including community engagement, integration programs and practical life skills. From bushwalking to sailing, collecting eggs from our chickens, growing produce in our gardens and cooking in our kitchens, to performing in our choir and creating inspiring artworks, meaningful learning and connection happens here every day.

We respect every journey, with strong pathways to the next stage

Every student’s path is valued and carefully supported, with a strong focus on wellbeing. Our staff work closely with families to guide key transitions, helping students to settle into school and move into post-school pathways, employment and community life smoothly, with confidence and a strong sense of belonging.
