We learn through real-world experiences, in and beyond the classroom

Students build confidence and independence through real-world experiences including community engagement, integration programs and practical life skills. From bushwalking to sailing, collecting eggs from our chickens, growing produce in our gardens and cooking in our kitchens, to performing in our choir and creating inspiring artworks, meaningful learning and connection happens here every day.

We respect every journey, with strong pathways to the next stage

Every student’s path is valued and carefully supported, with a strong focus on wellbeing. Our staff work closely with families to guide key transitions, helping students to settle into school and move into post-school pathways, employment and community life smoothly, with confidence and a strong sense of belonging.

I am fortunate to be leading such an amazing school, staff, student body and school community at Fisher Road School.

The staff here are passionate and committed to each and every student at our school. They are dedicated to providing a high quality education for all abilities. Our students are immersed in quality teaching and learning and as a school we will continue providing innovative resources to enhance all programs for all students. I look forward to leading our school by working collaboratively with the school community.
