Effective communication empowers students to express their needs, interact with others, make choices, share experiences, and engage meaningfully with the world around them.

We use a flexible, multi-modal approach tailored to each student’s individual strengths and needs. Our communication strategies include:

Signing and gesture
Visuals communication systems (e.g. PODD, communication boards)
Use of real objects
High Tech AAC (LAMP, TouchChat etc)

By offering a variety of tools and methods, we ensure that every student has a voice—and the opportunity to use it with confidence.
